Is there any compensation during my transition to GTR Meetings and Events, Inc.? While in a transitional period after joining the company, GTR offers creative financial solutions that are unique to each Sales Manager.

Which GTR products & services pay commissions to me? GTR maintains a variable compensation plan on every GTR product and service that we offer.

Is there any cap on my earnings potential? Absolutely not! We want you to think big when it comes to earnings potential. The Sky is the limit!

Is there flexibility in pricing when packaging a group of meeting and registration services? Yes, because GTR values the opportunity you have in securing all of your client's key business, each Sales Manager has the ability to package a group of products and services at flexible pricing. Each GTR product and service is considered a tool to meet that end.

After I book Site Selection business, when do I get paid? Generally, aside from any transitional financial arrangements, commissions are paid after GTR Meetings and Events, Inc receives booking placement compensation from the hotel. However, we do have advance commission payment programs available on the signing of the Hotel Room Block Contracts

Is attendance required at any regular Sales Meetings? No, not normally. However, we do have a weekly conference call that you are welcome to participate in. Additionally, we have an annual Sales Retreat where we encourage and welcome ideas from our sales team.

Do I need Hotel Group Sales or Meeting Industry experience? Yes, experience is necessary for your early success. You should have experience in Group Sales at either a major hotel brand, CVB, third party site selection or meeting planning company with direct client contact. You should have a book of clients that you can begin to call on immediately, to ensure your early financial success.

Will I be an employee of GTR Meetings and Events, Inc.? Ordinarily, each associate is an independent contractor engaged under a license agreement that is unique to each individual associate.
